Café East: Mother’s Day Dinner Buffet


Brimming with seafood specialties, hot dishes, sweets and treats for Mum to indulge in, Café East’s Mother’s Day dinner buffet can start with chilled fresh seafood including Boston lobster, snow crab legs, and mussels, followed by a deluxe sashimi selection. Next, a sizzling series of dishes such as baked lobster with champagne cheese sauce, wok-fried Thai-style jumbo crab, and steamed eel with garlic black bean sauce among other dishes. Finish sweetly with double-boiled bird’s nest with coconut and a lovely coconut milk pudding with peach for a wonderfully satisfying end to Mum’s meal.

Mother’s Day buffet is available on May 8 and 9 with lunch for adults (HK$468) and children from 3 to 11 years old (HK$328); afternoon tea for adults (HK$388) and children (HK$238); and dinner for adults (HK$698) and children (HK$468).

Tao Li: Authentic Cantonese Flavours


Authentic Cantonese restaurant Tao Li offers a range of elegant Mother’s Day-themed dim sum alongside spectacular views overlooking Victoria Harbour. Highlights include conpoy dumpling with bamboo pith and whole abalone in supreme soup, delicate steamed shrimp dumplings with asparagus, crab coral and gold leaf, baked milk custard buns with bird’s nest, deep-fried spring rolls with shrimp, crabmeat and much more – bringing traditional Chinese flavours presented beautifully for Mum.

Mother’s Day dinner is available on May 9 with sets made for six (HK$4,080) and twelve (HK$9,880) guests.

Sagano: Seven-Course Mother’s Day Kaiseki Dinner


Inspired by the famed suburb of Kyoto, Sagano is offering a masterly crafted seven-course Mother’s Day kaiseki dinner. The menu, designed by head chef Noka Masahiko, will feature stunning Japanese haute cuisine ranging from fresh bean curd skin with sea urchin, manganji peppers with conch, and a luscious sashimi course. The meal will also present perfectly grilled wagyu, captivating crab meat cutlet, assorted seafood on sushi rice, and a sweet seasonal fruit to finish.

Mother’s Day kaiseki dinner is available on May 9 for $1,400 per person.
